Pioneering Personalized Medicine
Dr. Katie Johnson is an integrative healthcare practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience, dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health through a personalized, whole-person approach to care. She currently holds licensure as a chiropractic physician and acupuncturist in the state of Illinois.
Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the National University of Health Sciences, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and Master of Science in Acupuncture. She has also completed extensive didactic and clinical training in naturopathic medicine, as well as a 300-hour certification program in integrative medicine. Her diverse educational background allows her to draw from multiple healing traditions, combining evidence-informed approaches with the foundational principles of natural medicine.
Her clinical interests include hormonal health, digestive wellness, and the complex effects of environmental exposures, including mold-related health concerns. She is particularly passionate about identifying and addressing the underlying factors that contribute to chronic health challenges rather than simply managing symptoms.
Central to Dr. Johnson's philosophy is the belief that the body has an innate capacity to heal when given the proper support and environment. Guided by the naturopathic principle of removing obstacles to cure, she works collaboratively with patients to uncover potential barriers to wellness and develop individualized strategies that support the body's natural healing processes.
Dr. Johnson strives to create a compassionate, collaborative environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered to take an active role in their health journey.
